The Greater Houston Area currently includes eight Kiwanis Clubs: Cy-Fair, Greater North Houston, Houston, Houston Intercontinental, Houston Sunrise, Kingwood, Lake Houston and West Houston. These clubs reside in Division 3 of the Texas-Oklahoma District of Kiwanis International. Every Kiwanis club assesses local needs, designs service projects to address those needs, then raises the funds and provides the volunteers needed to conduct those projects. Some examples of the programs sponsored by Houston Area Kiwanis clubs are listed below. To learn more, visit the local clubs page.
- Kiwanis Kids Triathlon

What makes Kiwanis different from other civic organizations is our unique Service Leadership Programs (SLP). Kiwanis works to develop leaders of all ages and at all levels - from elementary school through college and beyond. In the Houston area our strongest SLP is Key Club which comprises over 2,500 members.
Opportunities for people interested in service with Kiwanis range from coordinating fundraising events, to become an SLP advisor, and to helping with annual service projects. To contact a local Kiwanis member about getting involved, click here.
